Amid the worry
Amid the pain
You wonder
Will I ever be the same?

Filled with fears.
Filled with doubt.
You wonder
What’s this journey all about?

After your trial comes rebirth.
It will all become clear.
The pain and the worry
Will disappear.

You will see clearly
The lessons you learned.
Your new life will be
The one that you yearned.

On through the fire
On through the pain.
Seek your desires
And become whole again.

Fire and ice
You will have made it through
Be an example to others
And help them too.

This is God’s way to teach us a lesson
One we should accept.
For the lessons we learned
We will never forget.
