There’s a time for peace
And a time to take a stand.
When your country is young
You must take control of the land.
For history it seems repeats itself
Showing others they too can strive
Provided they have wisdom, love
And a great deal of drive.
The world sat in awe for
The birth of a nation was something to see.
Built on men’s sweat and determination
Creating the land of the free.
If the time ever comes
And we’re challenged again
The faith and love of country
Will be tested to the end.
